Cookie Policy
Last Updated: May 2026
Vancenco Intelligence is designed to be privacy-first. We operate a strict zero-telemetry-by-default architecture. We do not load any tracking scripts or non-essential cookies until you have provided explicit, affirmative consent via our Data Protocol authorization gate.
1. Strictly Necessary Storage & Cookies
These are essential for the site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as logging in or setting your privacy preferences.
- __session (Cookie): A session cookie required by our hosting provider (Google Firebase) to maintain security. This cannot be disabled.
- vancenco_auth (SessionStorage): Used exclusively to authorize your entry past our initial preview gateway. This contains no personal data and is cleared when your browser session ends.
- vancenco_consent_granted (LocalStorage): Stores your explicit yes/no choice regarding our telemetry scripts so we do not repeatedly ask you. Contains no personal data.
- vancenco_scroll_y (SessionStorage): Used by our SPA architecture to remember your scroll position between page transitions.
2. Performance & Analytics Telemetry (Optional)
If, and only if, you click "AUTHORIZE" on our consent banner, we load the following telemetry tools to help us understand how visitors interact with our platform and to identify critical UX failures. We do not use these tools for advertising or retargeting.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Collects anonymous traffic data (pages visited, device type) to help us understand audience reach. We have disabled data sharing with other Google products and enforce IP anonymization. ID:
_ga. - Microsoft Clarity: Analyzes how you interact with pages (heatmaps, scroll depth) to help us improve usability. We use this exclusively to optimize our frontend architecture. Clarity captures no keystrokes or personally identifiable information from input fields. ID:
_clck.
3. Managing Your Preferences
We operate on a Strict Opt-In basis. Telemetry scripts are blocked by default. They will only load if you click "AUTHORIZE" on our data protocol banner.
If you previously authorized telemetry and wish to revoke that consent, you can do so by clearing your browser's cookies and Local Storage for our domain, or by clicking the button below.
