Fault-Tolerant Edge Telemetry Persistence

In an era moving rapidly toward autonomous edge systems—UAVs, satellite constellations, and remote marine fleets—assuming reliable, continuous cloud connectivity is dangerously naive. When a connection goes dark, critical telemetry cached in standard volatile memory is highly vulnerable to power failure and data corruption.

BlackBox is an uninterruptible physical persistence engine designed to survive catastrophic power loss and hardware failure. It bypasses the operating system's volatile file cache entirely, committing telemetry directly to non-volatile physical storage the instant it is generated. If the power cable is severed mid-write, the data is already written.

Upon system recovery, the telemetry is transmitted to the network in a cryptographically sealed, tamper-evident chain of custody. The record of what occurred during the blackout remains absolute, unalterable, and legally defensible.
